About
the speaker:
Fahad
Ansari is a researcher at the Islamic Human Rights Commission.
He has a Bachelor of Civil Law (International) and an
LLM in International Human Rights Law. He has written
numerous articles on Islamophobia and was the author
of the Islamic Human Rights Commission's report: 'Terror
in the Name of anti-Terrorism', discussing the effect
of anti-terrorism laws on the Muslim community in Britain.
Fahad was the President of his Islamic Society in University
and is now the current president of the Federation of
Student
Islamic Societies in Ireland from where he hails.
